Lemon Whole Wheat Madeleines

French madeleine is a small sponge cake-like French pastry,  very recognizable by its distinctive “hump” and its shell-shaped bottom acquired from being baked in specific moulds.Traditionally, freshly grated  lemon zest is added to the batter to give it a slight lemon flavour.

Originally from the 18th century Lorraine region in northeastern  France, it quickly became one of the most popular pastry in every French bakery and one of the most renowned French cakes.

At Crepe Des Amis , we  make our french madeleines with whole wheat flour and  they would be available  fresh  on  Tuesdays , Saturdays and Sundays.

Tofulati is a delicious non-dairy,soy-based frozen dessert with the taste and texture of premium Italian ice-cream. It is lactose-free, contains  no cholestrol, no animal by products, has fewer calories than regular ice-cream and is made from the best ingredients. Although tofulati was developed for those lactose intolerant , it has gained  tremendous popularity with health conscious individuals . It is high in protein , calcium , phosphorus and iron. 

Frozen yoghurt is a frozen dessert made from, or containing yoghurt or other dairy products.
